ABOUT VANESSA

Vanessa Stump is a Southern California photographer and Los Angeles personal branding photographer specializing in vibrant, authentic imagery for creative entrepreneurs and businesses. A California native, Vanessa studied commercial photography at the renowned Art Center College of Design and brings over two decades of professional experience to every shoot. She is passionate about telling visual stories that connect brands with their audience, whether through personal brand photography, food photography, and portraits.


Based in a charming 1917 craftsman bungalow with a garden photo studio in Southern California, Vanessa lives with her husband, two lovable doodles - Ellie a Bernedoodle and Maisie a Goldendoodle, and an abundant backyard filled with 54 fruit trees and 8 thriving tomato plants. You will often find her behind the lens at some of Los Angeles’s best restaurants, capturing chefs, dishes, and spaces that celebrate the local food scene. Vanessa’s work is dedicated to helping businesses and entrepreneurs across Los Angeles and Southern California elevate their visual presence through professional, approachable, and intentional photography.
